About Us

I spent the second half of 2022 tossing around the idea of building a brand to help women like me celebrate life. I dreamed of curating collections for home decor and party supplies, and maybe even dabbling in event planning. My initial plan was to begin with an online store and open a brick-and-mortar storefront a few years down the road. After six and a half years of helping women dress themselves and their girls, I felt ready to tackle something new. My husband wasn't so sure. Ha! He had a point. Teaching full time, raising two active kids, and running a clothing business were already keeping me busy enough. 

 

When the clothing company I loved abruptly closed its doors in December, I decided it was time to take a break…for all of about two days. Once I got over the shock I quickly realized this was the catalyst I needed to allow myself to jump in head first and do something that was completely my own. I had been handed lemons. It was time to make some lemonade. That's how Lemon Drops Boutique came to be. 

 

In an effort to continue to serve the customers I've loved for years, I am offering a variety of women's and children's clothing and accessories in addition to the seasonal home decor items that were always part of the plan.
